Review of the Tenga Egg Stepper

The Tenga company is probably the best known sex toy manufacturer in Japan. It has become so popular there that even people living outside have come to know of the company despite having no other knowledge of onaholes with the possible exception of the American Fleshlight.

Without question the Tenga is best known for its trademark red masturbation cups. The company also produces a range of other toys however, including a set of disposable Tenga Eggs that a lot of guys love.

I reviewed the Tenga Egg Crater back in January. The Tenga Egg Stepper has a similar outer appearance but it creates a totally different sensation.

Like all Tenga Eggs, the Stepper has the size and appearance of an actual chicken egg. It is wrapped in plastic. Inside the outer egg shell there is the actual rubber toy and a package of Tenga lubricant.

The toy is the shape of an egg with a hollow center and a large opening on one end. Inside of the Stepper there are numerous flat knobs and nubs. The outside feels a little like an old kids toy called Gak though of course it is more solid and durable.

It is as easy to lube up the Tenga Stepper as it is to slide inside. The provided lube works well. If using another lubricant it is necessary to find something thick like SOD Emotion because the large opening allows thinner lubes to slide out and create a mess.

There is plenty of room in the toy and the hole is nice and big. Although the toy doesn’t appear to be that large it is incredibly stretchy. Thanks to its unique material makeup the Stepper can be pulled almost the entire way over an average sized stick without any worry of breakage.

While the various odds and ends designed for the inside of the egg are meant to create sensations I have to say that they can’t really be felt. Sure the toy creates good feelings when in use but the different protrusions can’t be distinguished from one another when going at it.

The toy has a bit of a medical or similar smell as well. This only detracts a little from the overall experience though and using the Tenga Egg Stepper is absolutely better than just jacking off with a dry hand.

Tenga Eggs are only designed for a single use. I’ve heard that some guys on a budget wash them out and use them several times over but this isn’t intended by the company and generally speaking doesn’t sound like that good of an idea. One-use Tenga Eggs aren’t environmentally friendly but as the Stepper shows they are friendly to the male body.
