Review of the SI-X Type R

The SI-X Type R is one of many toys in a series released by famous Japanese male sex toy maker ToysHeart.

According to ToysHeart the SI-X toys are softer and stretchier than other male masturbators on the market thanks to a special purpose-built “fine cross” material that the company innovated. This material is said to allow the toys to soften up without loosing any of their durability.

All SI-X toys come in the same long thin boxes. The Type R is no different. An illustration on the side of the box gives an idea of what the inside of the toy is like. Inside the box the Type R is packed in plastic along with a packet of Vanessa & Co Lotion lubricant that may be enough for a single use.

The SI-X Toys all share a similar external shape too. It’s rare to find a male masturbator that isn’t pink or peach. The SI-X Toys come in a lot of different colors. The Type R is different in that it is black and provides more stimulation than most others.

The body of Type R is long and floppy. It has a rippled grip section along the side. In the front there is a pair of chubby soft lips. between them there is a small round hole. The hole leads to a love canal that is absolutely filled with odds and ends. Soft ridges intermingle with numerous bumps of different sizes. One part feels like the roof of a mouth or a woman’s g-spot. At the end there is a large bulbous reservoir. There’s a lot going on.

Even though it has a small entry hole, the Type-R is very easy to lube up. The hole stays open so any bottle with a pour lid can fill it up with ease. It is also easy to get a male member inside of the toy. The material is so soft that it stretches with almost no effort to accommodate meat of any size short of a water buffalo.

Because the toy is so soft it can feel a little loose at first. This is simply a mater of perception. It is easily dealt with through extended use or a little manipulation of the hand holding the toy. A little squeeze goes a long way in transforming the Type R into a Tight R.

Leaving the toy as it is allows for a more vigorous use. The soft and stretchy toy can really be thrown around. A guy can go as hard as wants with little worry of breaking through a side or the end of the toy. It is willing and able to handle most reasonable roughhousing.

The various pieces on the inside of the toy create their own sensations. When used as a general straight ahead stroker they combine to create an array of feelings. Although the toy is a bit on the long side it pairs vary well with sex dolls that have room for onahole inserts. When put into such a doll and poked it feels somewhat like the real thing, especially if it has been warmed up by some use or an onahole warming device.

The Type R isn’t too difficult to clean. It is soft and stretchy enough to allow the entry of fingers along with water and cleaning agents. The only problem is that the material transforms with the use of lube. Even when sticking to the recommended water-based lubes the material becomes sticky quickly and tends to pick up any bit of lint it comes near. There isn’t much that can be done about this outside of using the toy only in a spick and span operating theater. Thankfully it’s not too big of a deal. The toy can still be used and used again without much fear of breakdown as long as it is not torn by turning it inside out. A toy cleaner insures that won’t happen. Even if it does break a new one can be had for a few dollars.

The Type R is a good toy but it is not the best in the world or even in the SI-X lineup. The review of that toy will come sometime in the near future. Stay tuned.
