Halloween is a holiday with western origins but it has gained popularity throughout Asia. That is especially true in Japan which makes sense since it is a place where cosplay is so prevalent. Shibuya is a well known place where people like to dress up in their best clothes to see and be seen even on regular days. On Halloween the area is filled with people wearing all sorts of costumes. This year they’ll be joined by people wearing not-so-sexy costumes modeled after the Tenga Cup. I first saw a picture of a woman in one of these costumes a few weeks ago but I thought it was an aberration until I came across more and more pictures of people peaking out from big red cloth masturbators. I would obviously like to see more women but I have to admit that this series of pictures of a guy going through daily life dressed as a Tenga Cup are quite amusing.
It is tough enough sitting in front of a computer all day. Despite some searching I haven’t been able to find an online English language shop selling Tenga costumes yet. I guess it doesn’t matter anyway since Halloween is just two days away. I am willing to bet that these costumes will show up on sites like J-List sometime in the future, hopefully before the next Halloween rolls around.
