Review of the Tenga Egg Crater

Review of the Tenga Egg Crater

While Tenga is probably most well known for its famous red Tenga Cups, the company also produces a large line of small disposable toys called Tenga Eggs. They come in numerous different styles. As time progresses more and more Tenga products will be reviewed on this website. A focus will be given to Tenga products that are easy for people outside of Japan to acquire. Under review today is the Tenga Egg Crater which is sold on several English language websites.

The Tenga Egg Crater comes packed in a hard plastic egg shell just like the rest of the products in the line. The Crater is decorated with blue geometric shapes but this quickly disappears as the product is unwrapped. Inside the egg shell the toy is found. It is small and stretchy. It comes partnered with a package of lubricant that is enough for one use. Other lube can be used, but if it isn’t as thick as the provided gel it can ooze out of the bottom of the toy and make a bit of a mess.

The small white Crater is just a few inches long. It has the same size and shape as the plastic egg shell it comes packed in. The material is difficult to describe. It is like a super stretchy, slick, soft silicone. There is a hole in the bottom and the rest is closed. The inside of the Crater is filled with small discs that are similar to an octopus’s suction cups.

How to use a Tenga egg

The provided lube can almost fill up the hollowed out inside of the Crater. From there it is easy to use. A stiff unit can slide right in. The Crater will only cover the head but a little handy work can stretch it out to cover much more. Of course Tenga Eggs are meant mainly for head work. The same kind of skilled hand developed over years of masturbating can be put to good use squeezing, twisting and otherwise manipulating the Crater egg to create all sorts of wonderful sensations.

While onaholes are filled with all sorts of various odds and ends there are times when it is all either too much or too little. I have tried numerous toys filled with elaborate patterns that I can’t even feel. I have also tried toys with simple insides that are too rough or intense. The suction cups inside the Crater egg can definitely be felt. They create a nice sensation though they are a little on the artificial side. That’s only a minor complaint. This thing is certainly better than going at it with a bare hand!

Tenga Eggs are meant to be used once and disposed of. This may be wasteful but I’m willing to bet that guys who wax their willy with the Crater would be willing to add a little to their carbon footprint in exchange for the pleasure they receive.

The Tenga Egg Crater is available at OtonaJP.
